Euro/Pound Prepaid Debit Card Options
« on: May 06, 2014, 08:12:43 pm »
We are travelling to Europe in July and I am trying to figure our what the best way to pay for things is. We will be in London for 7 days, and then we will be covering a couple of other countries in Europe. It seems like there is quite a few companies, Bidvest, Travelex, Amex etc. But I am not sure which would be the best option.

Is there anyone here that can point me in the right direction regarding this ?

I normally use my CCard to draw money at the ATM and higher value items I just pay with my C Card..

Surely if I was obsessed with motorcycles I’d have more than one; no two; no three; no no, four… ah, never mind…

Still looking for the catch with these products...

Does one not loose a lot of money when converting back if you have money left ?

just normal buy and sell rates, no catch.

Bidvest card is a great option. As you "buy" your forex up front, you know what your rate is. CC as a backup or to draw cash is a good option.
