The moment this comes into effect (motorcycles limited to 650cc withautomatic gearboxes) I'm moving back to SA whether I can afford to or not!

just because the europeans want to ban them, it doesnt mean the japanese will stop making them. we are in africa remember, and usually very far behind the european beaurocratic environmental by-laws and all that crap.

Another thing to remember is that the motion may not be passed into European legislation.
I'm sure politicians submit all kinds of crap ideas to keep their voters happy, just for the courts and the majority to tell them to think it over.

He,s getting closer and closer to me, and further and further away from the pub. His management must have noticed something.

Actually, rather a good dirt bike in its time was a Husqvarna 360 or 390 Automatic enduro bike they built in the late 70,s. Worked rather well.

probably more likely to pick up a problem in the states if you do the above.

The only problem is that the European Parliament recently passed a bill which will soon make it impossible to get a full bike licence before age 24. We were assured by the UK government that this is not on their agenda and won't happen and what do you know - when the time came to vote on the issue the UK didn't even bother to vote against it! Not that it would've made a difference, but it does prove AGAIN that you can't trust politicians. What really gets to me is that we all suspect that the UK government wanted this too and when they saw that most of the other EU countries wanted it too they thought they could get extra political mileage out of this by publicly opposing the bill whilst knowing they're going to get what they want anyway. This after they passed a law which restricts off-road riding incredibly after promising extensive consultation which were completely ignored. Why bother then? WTF am I still doing here??
