Ok so it seems the the KLE's battery has died. Wanted to take it for a spin this morning and it wouldn't start. So I put it on the Optimate to charge. I thought it was a bit odd as I rode the bike on Sunday. The bike has a Quest GPS hard wired to the battery but it has stood way longer and still started..
Anyway after most of the day on charge it still wouldn't start so I jumped it using my GS and it fired right up. While it was running I measured the voltage and got 13.8v. When I switched off the voltage went down to 13.1v. Apon trying to start it again, the engine would not swing. I measured the voltage again and it was 10.8.
So now the battery that's in the bike is a 10Ah battery which the manual shows as correct.
Recommendations on a new battery guys..?
I used enertec in my cage and was happy with it. What do you guys say..?
