I attended a wedding in Paternoster last weekend - my car window was smashed, and the venue owner of the restaurant where the wedding was supposed to be was murdered.
Hectic!
Bottom-line is to not leave ANYTHING in your car (my window was smashed for a 10-year old fleece jacket), and to keep accommodation windows and doors locked at ALL times.
Apparently these issues are especially pertinent when it is not crayfish season (the people are desperate...).
