Dewildt op die grooter Beemers

So Cor, op die forum, maar check alles uit, en ek het Dewildt gaan recce. Cor n redelike groen ryer, was Saterdag aand so opgewonde soos n 16 jarige in Teazers... So 6:30 uit Pretoors vir 59km op boring teerpad en toe begin die pret!!

Maar laat die foties die praat werk doen!  :thumright:

Die twee spoor was intreasant, lekker sandering, in n diep rut...

Die laat, aan houdende reen het gesorg vir lekker lyne deur die droe rivier bed

Van daar is dit, Shebeen toe, daar help die TPM dat ek n stokkie in die agter wiel het, en fix dit daar in die koelte met n cream soda in die hand...  :biggrin:

En dan natuurlik Jericho toe... het opgestap, ja MX is nie die beste stap skoene nie!?  :deal: Maar het vir Cor die lyne gewys... en toe gaan ons!

Bo op die rots, pomp die adrenalien!!! Was so koel dat Cor opgegaan het, hy ry nou eers grondpad vir 9 maande, en om n 1200 op te vat moet n mens guts he!!!  :thumright:

Toe is dit lekker vinnige gravel highways Beestekraal Stasie toe  :ricky: vir n lekker burger.

Dankie Cor vir die saam ry en jy is nou official nie meer n Newbie nie!!!  :peepwall:

But we didn't make the rock, a Dakkie seriously cooked it's self in the 3 fences section.

I cooked my porker in there, it was so hot it ticked over at about 2500 rpm..... farkin hard work :peepwall:

Hendrik and myself attemted 3 fences in 2012, and it is safe to say, it is not GSA friendly!!! :lol8:

But Dewildt is great, hard working, energy sapping stuff... but the exilirating feeling of finishing the ride - priceless!!

Have you got gps tracks of your route, want to add it to the route we did yesterday.

It is all about references, that sandy section is quite ridable...
