Bark Busters - STD KTM Trim

My bike fell over on Sunday. The clutch lever bent through the BB. I will now cut the levers (brake and clutch) shorter. But ihave a question. Is it worth replacing the STD trim with after market BB as the std BB seem flimsy or is there no need after shortening the levers?

Last thing i want is getting stuck in the middle of nowhere cause the bike took a tumble and the clutch lever broke!

also considering the wider sized foot pegs and they are 2k so thinking its better going for the pegs than the BB?
