Ok, so this e-toll farce has been operational now for six months already, now I can understand one, two maybe even three months of non compliance before the first legal steps get taken against offenders, while they iron out the kinks and all, but six months down the road and not a court case in sight.
And this on the back of aggressive threatening tactics about jail time and criminal records et al, something don't add up.
Now my take on the story is that SANRAL are avoiding court at all costs and would rather give in to the non compliance and take what they can off the sheep because they are well aware that they will see their ass in court and if the first ruling finds in the favour of the defendant the precedent is set and they will be forced to shut the whole corrupt operation down.

What is your take on it?
