New GSA LC Screen
« on: June 04, 2014, 05:29:35 pm »
Collected the New GSA Yesterday, went straight to Pauli, and fitted the Radiator Guards, Bigger footprint on the stand, and as I am 2m tall, I fitted the Handlebar Risers.  :thumleft:

Now the only problem I had today on my first real long ride was that bloody small screen, no matter where I positioned it, the wind hits me on the visor.  :(

Has anyone changed their screens yet, and which one did you go for?

I see on the web that PUIG does a nice Adventure Screen, any comments?

Large screens, top boxes, panniers and tank bags self destruct and/or get in the way when riding in bumpy terrain.

They are stocked by Trikbitz, but you have to order from a dealer, so I had to order through BMW, getting it today.  :thumleft:

Thanks, may I ask how much you paid?
Also when you say dealer, is that a BMW dealer or an aftermarket dealer?

Die manne by BMW se nie oor die 5000 revs tot 1000kilos nie.

Dink jy 500 kilos is genoeg?

Blixem your price of R1900 is what one would expect to pay, unless you are living in Cape Town where these screens are almost a R1000 more expensive! I am all for guys doing business and making profit, but jeez and no this was NOT a BMW dealer with expensive premises and muffins and coffee!!
So I declined the offer and will order through your dealer. Would you mind PM me the person you dealt with.
