Yep, it's in Robertson. The guys are out there doing final marking this weekend. It's going to be a pretty awesome route, tougher than most of the other offroads due to the terrain but very rewarding  :thumleft:
They've managed to get 3 extra farms added this year so a single loop should be close to 50km's  :thumleft:

Check out www.cape-enduro.co.za for the race regs and entry forms.

Pissies will never be heroes... ;D

Meanwhile I'm casing out the mountains of northern Spain, looks like a great place to ride.

I'd normally be there for sure but I'm still recovering from an injury. GJ and maybe one or two other dawgs will be riding. IMO, this is one of the nicest tracks of the year so I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the event  :thumleft:

Ian, look out the Cayenne@Droomers crew, you're welcome to pull in there. Chat to David or Gideon (GJ) if I'm not there, I'll let him know you'll be pitting with us  :thumleft:

Bummer. 11th hour braking issues have stymied my trip to Robertson. Considered riding with just a rear brake but decided discretion was the better part of valour... Disappointed, but see you at the next one!

Roadkill was there as well, he popped in for a chat in pit lane but he had the misfortune of drowning his bike within sight of the finish line on his 1st lap and couldn't get it going again so that was his race run  :-\

Friend of mine went as well, came back with a trophy! Said he had a blast. Arms was so sore he couldn't lift a glass of wine!
