Some guidance please:
So I had my first incident with the LC, my fault not the bike's! :thumleft:
I have some scratches on my touratech and bmw chrashbars, but no deep grooves.
Does anyone know how Touratech gets the finish they do on those Stainless Steel crashbars? I was thinking of just repairing it, but if its too much effort, the bike will remain as is!
At first I thought it was just sandblasting, but have read that stainless steel can be electroplated, although it is not magnetic.
I don't really want to powdercoat the bars, as I really like the silver, as apposed to black.
Any hints... :-\
