Husqvarna TE250R 2004 model any good?
« on: July 03, 2014, 10:54:31 am »
Can anyone give me an indication if the 2004 model had any weak points.
I heard they like to drop valves  :o

I am looking for a road legal play bike.
How does the TE compare to a Yamaha WR?

Hi Harry, check the condition - 10 years is a lot for a 250 4T that has been abused in the bush. I would rather opt for a 450, better for that inevitable tar stretch or dirt highway.

Thanks Sidetrack. Apparently the bike is still on the first set of tyres and in very good nic. I haven't seen it so far.
I did read somewhere that the 450 and 510 have very high strung engines an require a lot of servicing.
