Motorcycling apps?
« on: July 07, 2014, 09:00:20 am »
Anyone have any cool motorcycling apps they can recommend? I am specifically looking for an app that can track tyre life, fuel consumption, maintenance etc

One cool app that I have seen was Pirelli Diablo Superbiker which tracks your riding speeds, lean angles, lap times and more

KTM Assistant app.
Track services and work done on all your KTM's. Also makes referencing owner's manuals easy.

Define cool motorcycling app. Do you want to electronically capture data my grandpa used to write in his pocket book or are you looking for motorcycle related functionality?

BMW Tourtracker is a cool app

If you have an ODB2 connector the Optrix app is great

I was a bit confused since you used the word "cool" in the same sentence :imaposer:

You can track tyre life, fuel consumption, maintenance etc using a spreadsheet, no app required :deal:

Cool for me would be an app that automatically gathers all the data from the bike, integrates with the dealer support system to track maintenance and repairs and presents this all to me in an idiot proof graphical inteface that overlays the performance data on a map of where I've been. This app does not exist.

I'm using Road Trip on my iPhone. I'm tracking my fuel and maintenance on 3 of my vehicles. It works very well and has great functions like custom time frames for if you go on holiday or business or whatever and sync's also with my DropBox which allows me to check and keep records on my PC.

My favorite motorcycling app is Mapsource, it does not track consumption of any nature, but it certainly leads to awesome places.
