Lyndhurst off-road event: Sunday 11 June
« on: June 12, 2006, 11:54:24 am »
Hi all!

Just a huge word of thanks to all that attended and supported the ride on Sunday - it certainly looked as if everyone had some fun in some way or form.

I'm also extremely happy and relieved that there were no injuries, broken bikes etc. - we really tried to promote an environement and atmosphere where the participants could have fun without running the risk of any of the above.

And of course a special word of thanks to the following guys:

Ramon
Aldo
Ronald
Roger
Leo
Gavin

Watch out for the next Lundhurst off-road event!

Cheers - KalahariBen

That must be dope you are talking about.......

Michnus, I see your hand went for an operation, looks like you need an eye operation.

However, that fellow did bring some style to the meeting.

Who is Ramon, is he a riding instructor?

Now, why did the Dakar go around the innocous looking mud?

Fun... looks like Bimmers are starting to break quite a bit..  :P

Ramon is one of the Buell stunt team guys, he can wheelie a bike and do a stoppie all at the same time. It sorta just hangs there in mid air....
No seriously, he is ok, lucky to have the time to teach and play with bikes.
Assists Jan Du Toit at Amersfoort.

Ben organised a lekka day, with the bunch being split into three groups according to experience and confidence. It worked out well and everyone had a jol.
So maybe the dude on the Dakar is not as confident as you LITO, its not always a competition...

Fair answer on the first part Shark, no need to go and get defensive on the latter.

Confidence sometimes helps when theres more arse than class. I know its helped me many times! (when I should have been grounded)

Disagree with your opinion, but no problem. With a boep like that, hell, I was surely going to get poked for sure!    :P  :P

ps: edit: lets not screw up a nice ride report
