Works great, although now 3 knobs to turn but no,zero flex :ricky:

Does it really work, my feeling is it is not just the bracket but the positioning as well. The mounting is more toward the bottom which leaves the top of the screen more unstable. The brackets help but still use the same mounting points.

I don't care about the effort to adjust, making it adjustable on the move is what caused the problem. The old Adventure screen was perfect, you could adjust the angle if you wanted to but once in position I never changed it in al the years I had it. I have no idea why they had to go and f*ck around with it. I still can't believe German quality control would allow a flimsy design like this.

I love the adjustbale screen on the GS. For technical riding I drop it down to the lowest position and back up when on the highway.

I did find that it's worse on the larger GSA screen when I rode it.

Love and need are two different things, I think you lower it on technical riding because it looks less likely to fall off when you do that. Again I do not remember any instance on my old GSA where I felt the need to lower the screen. Even if I did, I definitely did not need to do it while on the move.

I lower it to reduce the chances of it hitting me in the face with my visor down.

Agree, maybe not need but works for me on the GS.

The battery ? Cannot help there.Re:screen yes it mounts at bottom withe 2 supplied  longer hex bolts(both sides) as well as top screen bolt both sides(2 longers ones supplied)I just changed the washers for top bracket movement to nylon instead of ss,now adjusting is a breeze

It really works, I have it and can vouch for it  :thumleft:

:pot: :peepwall: :imaposer: :imaposer: :imaposer:

The battery and seal recall does not apply to all the bikes. I received a mail about the one and not the other, took the bike in and asked that both be checked.

If anything fails I have it on record that I asked and the bike was declared OK.

Makes no sense, I accidentally drained my battery twice by leaving the phone charger plugged in and going away.

Both time I just jumped started and rode for a while to charge. No issues with controls not working.

Exactly, hence my questions.

It seems sometimes they just do not know and then spin any BS story.

I can understand controls failing, that can happen on any bike, and this is the first one I have read about.

Mine just stood in the garage for three weeks.  No trickle chargers, or any fancy stuff connected.  Started first time.

Trudie's LC was also on the list of the battery recall but Bavarian only realised the fact when I enquired and they looked on the list.

Battery replaced in 30mins.
