Hoe meer ek hom gewoond raak hoe meer geniet ek hom. Hoe harder jy hom ry op grond hoe groter smile jy in die helmet. Ek sal verseker weer een koop!

I traded my 16 month old Adv beginning January. Had a quick shifter fitted and also a Nav V to the new LC Adv.

Well....... It is a complete different riding style. I enjoy the bike much more that my 2013 Adv and will buy a LC anytime again.  :thumleft:

My dealer just called - a new LC in my colour has arrived and I have first dibs!!!

Would you buy a 1200 LC adventure again if you could???

Would you wait for next year - key less ignition and slipper clutch.

Finance is not the issue.

The issue is - if you have a 2011 BMW 1200 Adv with 17000ks on the clock in perfect condition  - Scotts Dampner, panniers, Zumo 660 plus all the other normal add ons - would you buy a new LC????

For those that have owned a air cooled 1200 Adv - would you do it again?? Upgrade to a 1200 Adv LC???????

Cheers.

I did exactly this  less than a month ago .....2012 GSA in perfect condition , sold with all the farkels .

The LC is an awesome bike , but totally different. It will cost me at least 30 K to get the extras , panniers etc but worth every sent.
I took it on the dirt yesterday for the first time and that confirmed the decision , the Tourque low down and the suspension makes a huge difference.
The LC is also much more responsive than the old one .

Traded my 2013 K1600GTL for GSA LC.

Very happy after about 5000km. Bike is more practical for everyday use, but I miss that smooth, screaming 6.....

I LOVE RIDING
