We recently did an extensive recce on this historic pass built by Thomas Bain. It can still be walked or cycled but only under certain conditions. History on this pass dates back to 1725. All the details can be found on the website on the Latest News tab on the home page.

Excellent! Always wondered about that route which is clearly visible from the Piekenierskloof Pass.
