Motorrad Service history

Some advise please.

How important is a authorised service history on buying a used BMW? If the bike has been serviced privately, it is difficult to prove and I am concerned as to how this will affect the resale ability and any potential BMW warranty claims, even if out of the warranty period.

Kind regards

Always a point of contention this. I guess it depends on how trusting the
potential buyer is that you actually did the work. Also do you do the servicing
as per the BMW schedule, or just the basics ?

Thanks for the response. My concern is exactly that. Motorrad is happy to service at now 25000km and confirm that wear and tear is indicative of bike been maintained in accordance given current condition. How important would it then be that the 2010 to now (3 years) plus 25 000km mileage cant be proved, but appears to be in order. How does a private person reset the diagnostics as well???
