SS fitting for clutch hose connecting to slave

I've heard that losing a clutch is a reality if the seal in the slave cylinder goes, hydraulic fluid on clutch not good. The seal might go because the fitting on the hose connected to the slave cylinder corrodes, allowing water to get in there. Want to do that mod that Stof Donkie mentioned, cutting the gasket at the bottom so it'll leak out the fluid should this happen. I also thought of replacing the nylon hose with a stainless steel one. It's quite a long hose, so is it perhaps possible to only put a SS fitting on the stock hose so no corrosion will take place there?
