Just returned from my Sunday morning racing practice on Franschhoek pass, what a day! Perfect.
What I wanted to say was, firstly, this is the second Sunday in a row that I encountered an accident scene in this pass. Last weekend, returning from the XT bash, seems a superbiker crashed.
Today it was a lot of superbikes parked, with some cyclists on the scene. Could be a superbike hitting a cyclist?
Secondly, I met a "Johan" on the pass, riding a Yamaha RZ500 upgraded with YZF-R6 front and rear end, Penske shock and 4x Lomas pipes. Very pretty.
I was beaten going up the pass from the Theewater's kloofdam side, by nothing else than a GS1200. I think it had a big-bore kit on. :imaposer:
