Great to hear your son is home Colyn, now he will be in good hands./
If I was you I would tell them to charge his last night in hospital to that ignoramus doctor, explain to your medical aid what happened, let THEM tell the hospital to piss off.
Ask that doctor why he has a 'Practice', the rest of us don't practice, we KNOW what we are doing.....

Doctors mostly just piss me off, farking arrogant bunch, all types......

My notes on the last seven days :

1. I heard a father on the phone with a sense of urgency and alarm in his voice that I have never heard before when he told me that his son was in an accident.

2. I saw a father's face when he saw his son lying in the middle of the road in a pool of blood.

3. I head a father say that he must now and tell his wife that their son was in a huge accident.

4. I saw a father on the edge of freeking out but keeping cool to support his wife.

5. I saw a father's face after the surgeon told him that the chances of saving his son's arm was very slim.

6. I saw a mother, with here face saying, " I would have taken his place on that table, if I could"

7 I heard the relief in a father's voice when he told me that after a 10 hour operation his son was stable in the ICU.

8 I saw a father's relief when his son walked into the coffee shop yesterday.

9. I saw a father's smile when his son walked into his house this morning.

10. I saw a mother and father's recognition of the Grace of God.

PS: Just keep believing. I nearly lost my arm in 1992. IT was an open reduction just below the elbow..It happened in Phalaborwa. The Phalaborwa doctors wanted to amputate, but luckily I was transferred to Pietersburg where a doctor managed in a 6-hour operation to save the arm. I believe that the only thing that saved me was the prayers from friends and family.

Hi Colyn, Baie bly dit gaan goed met Wiehann - ek het hom gesien Wo in die hospitaal by die kafeteria saam met sy ma - was lekker om hom te sien glimlag. Ek glo en vertrou hy sal ten volle herstel ... dit vat maar 'n tydjie - ek is nog steeds besig met fisio na my val verlede jaar - sorg net dat hy sy oefeninge doen - dit help! Ons is so bly hy lewe en dat hy al so mooi herstel het.

Hey Colyn
I'm glad to see your son saved by grace.

With my 4week stay in hospital my wife got the same "don't interfere here" talk

but luckily for me the Physician was a personal friend of mine and told her to get as involved as she could.

A message to all that might experience a loved one on hospital these days, visiting hours are for other family but you need to be there if the injuries have any chance of an infection!!!!

To you and your wife for getting involved.
