Some info wrt gearbox and F/D oils for our bikes.
BMW specify Castrol SAF-XO SYN 75W90 for our bikes. They want nearly R600.00 for 1.5L because it also have a BMW badge on it.
I could not find any available in PE and send an e-mail to Mr Johanne Radebe, technical guru at Castrol and he inform me that they have changed the name from SAF-XO 75w90 to Castrol Syntrax Longlife 75w90. You can buy these from your local Midas at R81.00 for a 500ml bottle.
Mr T also confirm with me that this is the oil that he uses in his GS and if it works for him it will definitely work for me.
