People who bash other brands do it so that they can feel better about their own choices. Except for KTM riders. We bash other brands because we feel sorry for the owners and are trying to make them see the light.

I am not guilty of brand bashing.



I only bash BMW's.  Although more often than not, they manage quite well in bashing themselves. :3some:

We wouldn't be men if we didn't give each other beans about owning different brands of bikes.surely?as long as it's all in jest then i don't see the problem.

This is the core of the problem.
If I was told; "your Yamaha is kak", I find no need to worry since I know it is untrue.

Why does BMW owners become so agitated when I say a BMW is kak? :ricky:

But, ultimately it is all in jest. It really is. How serious can a choice of bike be in the overall scheme of things??

This is rather interesting cause somewhere on FB somebody posted a post of if bikes were women, it was rather accurate it was rather funny, and it represented almost all major brands and most guys had a good giggle or a funny comment but then the BMW guys arrived and got all agro...  Just spoilt the mood. I'll see if I can find it

A buddy of mine with a sideways pistoned block of flats ended up at the KTM stand at AMID and asked how the 1190 compares with the 1200 GS "Ga Poe". and  Complained to me how the guy ended up badmouthing the BM   ???
Did not like my comment thet  i dont see the problem as it sounded to me he got good advice  :imaposer:

As een verskaffer rerig beter was in elke afdeling as sy teenstanders sou al die ander vervaardiggers uit besigheid uit gewees het. Dis soos om te se Toyota is beter as Ford. Wie gee om,ry net jou fiets

I like different bikes from all the brands. All brands have their runts of the litter and each of us have reasons for not liking bike A or B.
Why try and force what you got onto someone else. You can give advise and give opinions but let the person do what they feel best. And when their bike brakes no matter what brand help the dude out without making him feel worse about his bad luck.

We are all bikers at the end of the day.
