Hey Dawgs,
Well, we have 15 days to go, and lots to do!
6 guys, 6 different bikes and one amazing trip through and around Lesotho.
Our route takes us through from Harrismith to Himeville on the dirt on the 10th of September.
But there is where the easy stuff ends. Following that, on the 11th, we will be cruising up Sani Pass, having a coffee at the pub, before going through to Mokhotlong for a cappuccino and a muffin and hopefully some fuel. After that little break we are heading directly south, heading for Sehlabathebe, and the Selabathebe Lodge, hopefully more cappuccinos and fuel.
The following day, the 12th, back into SA via Qacha’s Nek and on through the dirt to Tiffindell.
On the 13th we hug Lesotho’s western border before arriving for a night under the stars at Aldam.
The 14th takes us back to the rat race (Jo’berg) and back to reality…luckily enough mostly on the dirt.
We have taken it upon ourselves to document this trip by photo and scribe, so there will be plenty a story when we get back. We will also be documenting gear and bikes and would be happy to field any questions on the experience.
