I have an aluminium luggage rack, as well as pannier racks without a luggage rack, as well as pannier racks WITH a luggage rack.
Will post pics tomorrow.
Cheers

I have installed the rack I bought from Flying Brick. It's true, the installation is easy and the rack fits perfectly. I have to commend Flying Brick both for their product and their service!

I have welded a small plate between the vertical rods on the rack to accommodate a Roto Pax bracket. Without an extra fuel tank one has to make provision for extra fuel.

One can remove the Roto Pax bracket from the plate and attach any luggage system

My next objective is to have both the Roto Pax and the luggage on simultaneously. This will require a small modification to the luggage however. I'll start working on that next.

Hey Desert Boy,

Any update on this? Thinking of going the same route

I like the look of that Toys2Go Pannier rack, but I would like to put a solid luggage rack at the back for the rollie bag. Is it possible to attach a plate on top of it?

yes, it is possible, we are awaiting our next 2 racks this week, so I can only 'illustrate' poorly with our half-demo rack, but yes, it is certainly do-able!
see picture attached.

and we have a universal luggage plate for just R350 - but you would likely need to cut it, to reduce its size for the 690 aesthetics...!

Thanks Chris. So if I understand correctly there isn't ready to go plate fitting on top of those racks available? Just to be sure before I start devising my own.

CORRECT - YOU MAKE YOUR own 'plan'; we can supply a ready-made plate that could work well, but its up to you to attach it, etc.
Cheers!

I'm happy with Toys2Go rack, but would like attachments for Rotopax on the sides and on top. Is this something you guys would be willing to supply ready-made?

Hi Crow

After a lot of deliberation, I decided that I need a minimum of 350 km of fuel capacity on board before embarking on a trip. For this reason I imported a Rally Raid EVO 2 kit from the UK. This gives me toal capacity of 22 litres; more than enough. Now, in extreme cases I can carry an extra 6 litres in the Rotopax containers. I can also use a Rotopax water container, or 2 water containers. I have many options.

In addition to the RR tanks, I have welded a small plate to the luggage rack so that I can attach my SW Motec tail bag. This is invaluable on short trips to carry puncture repair stuff, etc.
