Keep networking among the farms and farmers you work for.

Hopefully you will pick up a contact and get a decent job contract for next year.  :thumleft:

Tom try and get work on a wheat/corn harvest outfit as a truck driver. Much more relaxed. Yes the same mobile home applies and you move from south to north in the US. I have a friend nearby that worked for years as a truck driver for a outfit from Arizona. I will try and get contact details.

Yesterday I took the camera to the field. A once off since it is just too dusty and also I don't want a reputation of 'taking photos' in work hours.
Unfortunately when you get a lot of men together sharing confined living quarters and workspace 24/7 its unavoidable that you will have some level of 'gatvol' among the guys. Some miss their homes and family, others are moerse kind and considerate and some are just plain asholes..... sorry that one slipped out  :peepwall: :peepwall:

I even done a round in the silage chopper with Armand and obviously did not miss a load.

Season is running out now, and Tomorrow we have our last late corn field to chop just North of Guymon, and I think we will move back to Cimarron Kansas Saturday and then the foreman and boss will divide us into either manure hauling, harvest with his son in Minneapolis and some will be sent home. I have absolutely no idea where I sand and if ill be selected for more work. So far only 2.5 months here and did not make all that good but Im ok to go since I can work with money. Herewith a couple o pictures. Truck number 16 was the truck I got my CDL with, and then it became 'my working truck'. I really like this Peterbuilt but yes I do not know any other trucks to compare with......I just love it  :laughing4:

PS. My truck including full avg weight of silage = 100 000 US Lbs (Gross) You will not here the Perebult with the Cummons motor complaining!  :thumleft:
Tarra is 40 000 Pouns = Load only 60 000. We get in trouble for loads over 100 000 at the scales. Wet silage will easily ad 10 000 lbs and dry may weigh 10 000  less than expected.

For the mathematically challenged, 100,000 lbs is 45,000 kg.  :peepwall:

The battery on the Jon boat is charging. The fuel tank for the outboard is full. Your bed is ready...  :thumleft:

Give me at least a day or two heads up and then you arrive boet.  :thumleft:

As much as I'd love to go fishing already, I know you need some more paychecks. That's ok. I'm patiently waiting for my fishing buddy

I'm requesting more notice than a day or two, please.

I need at least 4-5 if possible, so I can arrange a shipment to Zogs.

Enjoy the cold TVB, I was in Ellisras this week, the Bushveld is incredibly dry and it will be over 40C in the shade all next week. :peepwall:
