Don't even think of asking for pictures on this one, I couldn't dare take the digital camera out of the bag. No sooner had we left Centurion on the Delmas road than the clouds came down and thick fog enveloped us. This eventually lifted because it had to make space for all the rain.
By riding buddy for the day was on a roadie, so thankfully there was no dirt roads and therefore no mud monster. The cloudy conditions did make for cool and comfortable riding temperatures, and despite the rain it was a good days riding. I had a very close shave in Heidelberg when I almost dropped the bike on in town, but other than that it was plain sailing. To all the adventurous people on DS bikes who greeted us in the rain today, thanks and cheers to you too!
It's pouring down as I'm typing this, and looks like there will be more of the same tomorrow.
Hope you other dogs enjoyed the day too.
