Getting into and out of Egypt
« on: September 16, 2014, 09:07:10 am »
I do not have a lot of information but have learned that you can now leave Egypt again by boat with your bike.  This is leaving from Port Said to Turkey.  https://www.facebook.com/fromjoburg2frankfurt?fref=nf - Post of 5 September 2014.  This will make planning your trip to Europe a whole lot easier.

And the road to between Egypt and Sudan is also open according to Egyptian biker and traveller Omar Mansour Alfardy https://www.facebook.com/Egyptianbiker?fref=ts).  He will be going on this road to Khartoum fairly soon so can get an update then.  You will be missing out on the ferry trip from Wadi Halfa to Aswan but let's say that this is not really a loss.
