640 repaint
« on: September 16, 2014, 05:04:36 pm »
The previous owner of my awesome 640 painted her grey but nor the color nor the actual job was well thought through.... I decided it's time for some orange, looked into carbon fiber transfer but that turned out a bit expensive but I did decide to do something different....

Looks terrific!  :thumleft:

You'll have to post a pic when it's all assembled!

Panels were painted then when dry is covered with carbon fiber ( there's lots of other paterns) via water transfer I think and then coated with a clearcoat to protect it. For a few reasons I only covered certain panels, parts like the fuel tank I left just normal paint and normal vinal stckers

The fuel tank after the vinal stickers were added, no clearcoat yet.
