Sorry guys. At first I thought it was me, last night 23h00 I deleted 3 days RR as no photos, only to find this today. trying to sort it out. Im just to popular as that is what the problem is too much viewing and boom from a free site, now I have to pay the clowns to get back in as im over the looking period or some thing. Will get back to you ous.

Sorry we have a technical problem  I will call the boss. :imaposer:  :imaposer:

I don't understand why  oke's are using photobucket and other storage sites. Why not just post the pics straight from your PC onto WD's ?

So that you can add comments in-between the pics?

That was the only way I could do it when I did a RR?

Is there any way to post direct from PC to this forum..? I always thought it had to go via a storage depot??

All my RR's pic's are direct from my PC to forum.
In the reply window you will see left lower corner + additional options. Click on that after you wrote your piece. Then there will be a little block with attach
infront of it. Right hand side Browse button. Just click the browse button and locate your pic on your pc. I try to keep my pics not larger than 250 kb and not more than 4 per post.
Like so :-

Loading directly on WD is an option but:
- the size limit is very small (500 kB I think) so you either post very few per post or have to make them really small size, which usually mean they look kak
- the pictures are posted at the end of the post and you can't comment in between them - i.e. all you commentary is on top and all your pictures at the bottom. May not be problem for you, but I like to comment on pictures.

Ian, you have an account on youtube I believe - which is part of the Google universe. So you might have access to Picasaweb and load pictures there - I have 15 GB limit on my account on Google (gmail, remote drive and Picasaweb), which is at least now more than enough to load lots of big enough pictures.

Just a thought to consider. Hope you sort it out soon.

Onwards we ride to the OrrelPype and surprise you ous with a few more photies.

Ian and Tappet head off to check out Burnt Mountain

Meanwhile I have decided to go on towards Uis as my bloody Knee is giving me hell from the corrugation (two days of riding corrugation roads, its becoming a pain in the ass. (as well as the Knee)(Pain pills washed down with cold ones help quite a bit)

On route back and to Uis we take a few more pics to show you ous some more country.

Now I have stopped at this bridge and was taking some photos whilst waiting for Tappet as is customary and eventually I see him in my mirror so I go

Get Ian also doing the customary thingy about 30km up the road waiting for us.

Take a few pics whilst waiting

30minutes later with Tappet still not rocking up we have decided that some thing is wrong and as Ians got the longer fuel range that he will go and look for him and that I will wait here for them as we are all ready running low on fuel.

Off Ian goes to find him.

Tappet has had a puncture and has attempted to fix it

So Ian finds him at the bridge where I saw him coming along, he only made it to the bridge

They repair the puncture and zoom out of there.

Meanwhile time is passing, ive been waiting for two hours already when I see this

Dam one of the best sites in a long time, I was just about to go and look for them. Tappets water is finished so I give him what I have left and we head off for Uis

We cabin over at Brandberg Rest Camp

We go and get some stock for the night as we have decided to braai

Have a few cold ones and once again weld the bracket on the Twin as now the other side decided to brake as well

Night time comes all too soon so we descend to the braai are and prepare our feast.

The coals are ready on goes the meat whilst we are consuming one cold one after another

We eat as kings, Flamed Braaied Gemsbok Fillet and Sirloin richly spiced with my secret spices, marinated in a garlic beer sauce, with wors, sweet corn and garlic onion bread washed down with cold ones.

We yarn away into the night, what more can a ou ask for I ask you? A fire, stomachs filed with Great food and cold ones and then even greater the companionship and friendship of these two great ous.

Wednesday 3rd   Day 13  Uis – Henties Bay    ( 140 KM)

Up early as by this time we are all used to it. Heads a wee bit sore from those cold ones, but hey was worth it. So we go for a breakfast and take a few pics of the possie

We take a ride first to Brandberg mountain to check it out.

So now we no what this possie looks like as well so we head off to our bikes to go only to find that Tappets puncture has returned to bite them up the ass as they was quite chuffed with there fixing of a puncture process.

I decide to be a nice guy and donate a new heavy duty tube to Tappet (I told you ous we have everything that a ou needs, except a bloody block and tackle)

Okay now can we get going?? Ok we do

Ian has told Tappet that the closer we get to Henties Bay it will like all of a sudden just get cold, like riding into a fridge. Tappet just looked at him and aid “Ya Right” He he famous last words

The road is great, but long and boring hence a few pics

Ha we have reached Henties Bay

We get to the sea

Now as Tappet is such a brave ou and he also wants to be big and strong as the two moerse strong uncle Dinosaurs of his that we beeing such nice ous that we are have made him an offer. Ian has offered him R600.00 if he will swim in the sea for 10 minutes it and I also will contribute two cold ones for him afterwards (I mean the ou wanted to go for a swim )

Now Tappet being the brave ou that he is takes a “trap” to the water to feel if he is brave enough to do it

He comes back and tunes us ous that he knows that his not all that “lekker” in the head, (maar daar is nie n blikseme manier dat ek gaan in daai fokken water swem nie, dits pisss koud) Needless to say me and Ian were laughing our “gaaaatte” of. We even offered to up the Anti by offering him two more cold ones, but he just looked at us and walked away whereby we hosed our selves some more

Now we wanted to camp on the beach but the wind was blowing like mad and it was like “moerse koud” and we was feeling sorry for Tappet as his hand and boots were still cold so we decided as us two ous are such nice ous and we don’t want him to get frost bite or such “gooites” that we will “maar” book into a “possie” for his sake..

Find a nice place down the road and we all set, “lekker rooms,a place for the Bonnies and we all happy.

Then it was of too town for a “lekker” lunch. Ian has sea snails (Calamarie) Tappet has Sea snails and Kabeljou, me being the decent person I am I have fish and chips (Kabeljou) washed down with cold ones.

Let our feminine side out, take a ride and check out the place and go do some shopping I I mean a ou has to have breakfast for the next morning and snacks and such. We spend the better part of an hour in the spar, think we was bored. He he

Back to our posie and relax a bit.
Supper time has arrived so we head of to the best Pizza joint the town has. (It has only one, Pizza joint) Devour some Pizza’s, Ye Ye washed down with cold ones then back to our possie and zzzz time

I finally found this ride report. After being threatened with all sorts of bodily harm and sexual (dis)favours.

Lekker one Allen, you and Ian and tappet are having a moerse jol, I'll keep looking in for updates.

Just don't keep me waiting too long, or I could get thirsty and go look for another spook and diesel  :peepwall:  :ricky:  :imaposer:

We relax and have some more cold ones, some ous relax more than others

Mmm Tuna with Mayo rolls for supper, washed down by you guest it cold ones

Another day has past as we lie around watching the stars when all of a sudden I see those mates of mine, they are on there own mission high up in the sky. I wave up at them and wish them a safe journey. Ian looks at me and asks what wrong. I point up at the sky too emotional too speak and they also see this moving object. Ian says it’s a Satellite, Tappet says it’s a plane, Me I know the truth its those mates of mine (Those little green “Mannekies” Koos and Piet from out of space)

Wednesday 5th   Day15   Spitzkoppe _ Swakopmund     ( 110Km)

The son is up, we take a few photos before leaving

Some random photos

Back on tar and the road goes fast. With out realizing it I took of a few years of Tappets life as these “Panniers” of mine are so wide and I dig to ride next to or on the white line that they were in those other ous lanes. Now I know why there was so many ous flashing lights at me. I just thought they was friendly ous. He he (He was behind me and tuned a few ous just just missed the pannier box. He he

So Swakopmund, here we are at 10h30

Go and have a breakfast and then we headed of to town. Now my bloody camera has decided that its “moeg” of my shit and “sommer” want work any more, so I head of to find a camera repair shop, Tappet follows me and Ian decides to book us in at a guest house (Namib Guest House ) And so we get separated and we ride around the town looking for each other. He he About an hour later we found each other. He he that was fun

Tappet goes and has a hair cut I go and have a cold one at Lighthouse Pub and Grill

This would be a trip of three visits to this possie
1st time: It was boring at the guest house so me and Ian went and had a cold one or two their. Go back to the guest house,
2nd time: Tappet is still not finished so I went and had a cold one or two, go back to the guest house Tappet is finished trying to make his self all pretty, he even had his small little patch of a beard wait for it wait for it (waxed) Told you ous he wasn’t “Lekker”
3rd time: Tappet and me go and check out the possie and then go for a cold one or two.

Night time again, dam im doing the time jumping thing again as im sure we was still “kuiering” and then the sun “sommer” like decides to go for a rest

We go and have a graze at the Brauhause Restaurant were we drink this white beer Paulaner (Me I did not smaak it) so I drank normal cold ones

I had the 750Gram Eieshbein with Sauerkraat and a Garlic roll (dam thing was just too small to fill me up) Ian and Tappet had the Weiner schnitzel with chips and a salad. He he “skeem” they was still hungry afterwards. Ok maybe not Ian but definitely Tappet as he looked on with tears in his eyes as I devoured the Eiesbein He sorta hinted for a piece and seeing that im such a nice ou I told to to go and duck himself and to leave my “kos” alone. He he

I go to the “kak huis” and have a “moerse” long pee, so that I can drink some more cold ones and as I turn to go i see this pic on the door, and it “sommer” reminds me why I drink cold ones, and “gooi” stay soft in my bath water. (The More cold ones I drink the better the gooses look) He he

Had a few more cold ones and then it was of to the guest house and zzzz land
Tappet put up his nightly ritual of trying to drown out any type of noise whether it be on sea or land.(Tonight he sounded like a army Bedford stuck in the mud) he he

Thursday 6th   Day 16   Swakopmund _ Solitaire    (297 Km)

Ever hear about a dog on a roof?  No!! Well hears one, this mut looks down on a ou

Take Tappet to dune 7, its changed since we were last here. (dirty and dilapidated )
So we decide not to go to the top and check out what is on the other side as Ian still has nightmares from the previous time that we was here

The Three Amigos Oops I mean Dinosaurs Dam but we look good

There three Amazing Bonnies (Collectors Pics)

The Honda

The Yamaha

The Ktm

We check out the shop section and take some cool photos

Then its on the road again doing what we do best. No not drinking Dammit. Riding. Dammit or is it drinking???

We rode some amazing roads and im sharing with you guys what my eyes saw, this amazing scenery, this amazing place.

We decide to go and “verken” this joint

It was worth the ride

We have a few cold ones

I loose my heart to this beautiful lady   The manageress Oyla

Against my will we have to leave. They literary had to drag me out of there, dam but the heart of mine was almost broken.

Solitaire here we come.

Arrive at Solitaire. Me I was not a happy ou, I wanted to go back but they would not let me. He he

Mmm we decide to treat our self’s and get some rooms and then to chill out in the pool. Ok only I chilled out in the pool

Tappet takes pics of the scenery so that we can show you ous once again what the possie looks like

Then we go for the famous apple pie, major disappointment as it was just that an apple pie, had a lot better on the trip so far. We choose to chill out at the bar and have a cold one or two.

Time walk thingy caught up with us and it was not even those little buddies of mine (Koos and Piet) as the next thing we know it was night time

We had a “lekker” “bord””kos”
