Yammie mengelmoeskardoes
« on: September 19, 2014, 05:00:44 pm »
#YAMAHA MT-07 Enduro Concept! A truly beautiful dual sport or scrambler motorcycle designed by OBERDAN BEZZI! Based on the very well-engineered YAMAHA MT-07 with his modern parallel twin engine, the shape of the bike is pretty basic, and seems to share the aesthetic code of the legendary YAMAHA #XT500.
To emphasize that he put a steel tank, and a big wheel in front, and long travel suspension, so you can enjoy some off-road riding, OBERDAN also put a flat seat that can care two person.
With simply a skid plate this motorcycle will take almost everywhere, so we really want to see it in real!

If you can start it you can ride it

You think they could have been reading the 'open letter' thread?
Love the general styling, or lack of it, with the flat dual seat, simple round headlamp, and fuel tank that doesn't extend around the steering head.
Just need to do something about the exhaust, and put a bash plate where the header pipes are.

Beautiful bike! Agree that the exhaust needs to be rerouted. Should also be a lot lighter to pick up than some of the current dual sport bikes!

As mentioned, just a weak spot on routing the headers, also the water pump. BUT a good bash plate would solve that.

Smaak it stukkend! :thumleft:

Sadly, the bikes that make it to the production line are designed by bean counters working in small cubicles. They don't listen to us.

Daai XT500 gene laat my hart chocolates pomp. As hy nie klink soos 'n XT500 nie wil ek hom nie hoor nie.

Daar was en is net een XT 500 en dit is die XT500.
