you know what I can't find on the interweb? the power output for the DR650SE (like LuckyStiker's) - anyone know what it is?

Old school 'farm style' engine and more 'racing oriented newer design. Apples and oranges...

BTW: There are two mistakes in the motorcyclespecs listing:
The rear brake is a single piston caliper and the tank is 13l.

And the Djebel 250 XC clock in at 30 hp (22 kW)/ 8,500 rpm, 27 Nm (2,8 kg-m)/ 7,000 rpm.  I say old chap, that is not bad for a 250 then ?

Manufacturers like to brag about bike specs, I do not believe a stock Djebel will be close to 30 hp, closer to 25 if you are lucky. LGF had his DRZ on a dyno and got 32. I owned two DR 250's, they are not close to a DRZ but they are quite lively for a 250 air oil cooled motor.
