Well, ZK1, tell us more about your Dad ad his collection? What else did he have, and is he still doing it?

What did an RZ500 cost at the time?

If I remember correctly, the RZ500 was introduced in 1985 at R7400.00.

2SD, not a big collection. But he had a Ducati 150cc something, Moto Guzzi Le Mans MKII with the 1000cc kit and Stukky(spelling) fairing, Moto Guzzi California II, Ducati Mike Hailwood Replica and the TT, oh yes and a couple of CD200's for his business  :lol8:. Unfortunately he has none of them left, sold the TT to build a gyrocopter that's still not finished and he is getting on in years so is selling that as well. Luckily I had the opportunity to ride the TT couple of times.

Funny thing is, I don't even fit in those leathers. ha ha ha ha

I'm about as gray as he was there, but my girlfriend don't want me to grow my beard.  :lol8:

If we didn't have a bit of a generation gap it would have been awesome to go on a breakfast run with him on one of those bikes.

That Mike Hailwood was a 900cc twin, with a kickstarter, no happy button.
