Testing my new kit in the dirt - BMW 1200 adv LC
« on: September 28, 2014, 10:29:14 am »
So far this this bike is proving to be a big surprise.I am still waiting for a set of Karoo 3's so can't exactly do as I wish but none the less on Anakee 3's this bike is proving to be very stable nimble and actually enjoyable. Its not a 690 but age and injury is forcing me to look else where.

This is seemingly a good bike.

A good bike but like any other has it's good and bad points. Doesn't like thick sand or cotton clay. However, depending or rider skill can do it. Mine has been all over Southern Africa from the equator down and lived to tell the tails. Enjoy. The best part is doing long distances without getting a cramp in your but. ;)

KTM is very close to my heart.I sold my 2014 690 this year deliberately to reduce my off rd riding and ride more tar(My heart is not in Tar riding but that is probably where I am heading hence the R1200).I will wait a little before considering the 1190.

I just wish I could get some Karoo3's????
