Lekker feelgood story that just goes to show how little you actually need to have an amazing story to tell.
“Not content with a Mauritius beach resort for our honeymoon we decided to ride 14300km through Africa on a motorbike, and not just any bike – a tiny 150cc pizza-delivery bike!
Armed only with our ridiculous bike, a handful of spare parts, a tent, some medicine and a backpack we departed from Pretoria with no map, no route plan, no Carnet de Passages for our bike and no clue where to go or how to get there. But, after 153 days of driving at an average speed of 75km/h we found ourselves on the opposite side of the African continent; Cairo.”
