Just wondering, removing the old foam inner and replacing it with better foam and then reupholster the seat again?
Done before?

I added a thin layer of foam (8mm or so) all over. New cover. It is more comfortable. But I don't really have an issue with the OEM seat either. Did it just as an experiment.

Did the seat of my CRF by removing the stock cover, adding some chip-foam (shaped), and fitting a Nithrone cover from Eric in the cape. 100% improvement in comfort, and looks good as well.
