Auto Alpina - Beware
« on: October 15, 2014, 03:44:34 pm »
Had a tyre fitted at Auto Alpina Boksburg.  The cost R2400, the same tyre fitted at Bavarian Centurion costs R1699.  Please shop around to avoid being bitten.

That's a bummer.
Put it down as school fees paid and remember your advice in the future.
Oh and welcome to WD.

I've fitted many tyres before and always only use Just Bike or Bavarian.  Needed a tyre in a hurry as I was leaving for Moz the next day.  Price seemed excessive but paid it any way.  Checked on Monday to do a comparison and was gob smacked how they ripped me to shreds.  JBT and Bavarian charge R1700 fitted, Auto Alpina charge me R1850 + R300 labour before tax.  Only Auto Alpina charge labour!!!  I went to BMW and got the usual spin doctor stories.  Great forum, thanks for the replies!!!

HUGE SUPPOSITORY, TELL YOUR MATES TO AVOID THIS HAPPENING TO YOU.

Thnx,

Lossi, have you tried Full Throttle. They also balance and fit for free and prices are very competitive with cash discount also allowed.

PS Ignore 2strokeDan. He dreams of riding a BM.

Ja.  You wouldn't understand this problem.  Those of us with bikes already developed to using rubber wheels have to pay the price.   :ricky:

Hi

I was in Boksburg this week and wanted to just have alook at what bikes they had. There is no parking in the street so decised to park in side . THey wanted my drivers licence so I told them at the gate to ..............off and left.

Will not go there again I will go to my friends at Bavarain.
IF NOT WHY NOT

Aj look its seriously very old now...this BMW bashing thing.

Ill be the first to admit that BMW has its issues, but Danie, Im we are gatvol with you hijacking every thread and turning it into a BMW is crap story. As if the rest of us actually give a shit.

So Im just going to split the threads from now on. You can carry on bashing BMW in your thread here  (http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=161526.msg3051936#msg3051936)

and the other guys can carry on talking about tyres in this one
Fair enough?
