I'm from Pretoria, returning to the saddle after about 20 years. I have been reading some of the awesome advice here from the experienced guys and it's been invaluable. I have a question though:
I'm attending a refresher course at SQR in Centurion this weekend. After that I plan to ride around the neighborhood to get my confidence up. At what stage will it be safe for me to tackle the highways? I plan to commute to JHB daily on the R21.
