Concept Bike : Husqvarna 401 Black Arrow
« on: November 09, 2014, 01:02:05 pm »
Power : 373 cc water-cooled, 43 horsepower single cylinder engine, which is the same unit used in the production KTM Duke 390.
Sporting upside-down WP forks, lightweight trellis frames, and 17-inch wheels with modern rubber.
The bikes weigh a mere 135 kg (297 pounds).

The muffler is mounted high, out of the way of rocks and debris. The headlamp has an integrated cage that fully encloses the bowl: it’s the old headlamp grill reinterpreted in a modern way.
The solo seat has a grippy texture and makes room for a small utility rack at the back.

There’s a matching rack on the tank, giving the rider multiple storage options for longer off-road trips.

Thanks for sharing.
If this bike was actually produced, I would be the first in line for one as I am drooling at the awesomeness of the design.

Nice find! Sexy.

Wow, then we have a totally different interest in bike design.
I on the other hand love the look of it, and can very easily imagine owning one.

Anyways, each to their own I guess....

It doesn't look anything Husky like though.

I like, but that back end looks a little "stomp" - like a Rottweiler!  ;D
If you can't fix it with a hammer, its an electrical problem!

Interesting!

I think that rack on the tank is just about perfectly placed for castration - leaving you with only your Rosa Pilen on your bloody Svart Pilen.

The three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40 and a hammer.  If it moves and it shouldn't, use the duct tape.  If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD-40.  Otherwise use the hammer.

This looks like Lord Hesketh's stillborn.

Google the Hesketh "superbike".

Really ugly.

Yep, how can we not see the resemblance, Dan!

I still think the Hussy looks kinda cool! Except for the stompgat that is!

WTF is it supposed to be ?

The front wheel is smaller than the back wheel - the only terrain that will work on is the pavement outside the Vida Café in Camps Bay ...

May be something to look at but I would hate to ride it - guaranteed to make your piles bleed ...
