I'm a little worried about age and / or mileage - and to be honest, I'd like to do the build myself, so I can figure out what's wrong when something does go wrong...  But this is by a long shot the cheapest way to go though.

The three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40 and a hammer.  If it moves and it shouldn't, use the duct tape.  If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD-40.  Otherwise use the hammer.
