@Dorsland, We went through there late 2019, if I recall correctly and they had started building whatever it is they're building. Went through Clarens, in November last year and there was very little campsites left, if any. What it is they are building there I am not sure but it has taken over the whole campsite.
What you said about traffic noise is true, it was a very noisy road next to the campsite.

Always astounds me that these people can take something that works and screw it up so badly that the reason for the location's success is destroyed.

It's a pity about that noise as it is a really picturesque location.  Nothing like waking up with that view of those sandstone cliffs towering over you.
It is a Dinosaur Museum . In my opinion a very kuk idea to put up something that is going to bring hordes of "bus tourists" to an area with such natural beauty...but nou ja ...
There are plenty really interesting paleontological walks on farms in the area but it takes a bit of planning and effort to get to the sites

Dink dis oorspronklik 'n Amerikaanse maak.

Jy gaan BAIE fotos plaas, daai ATs is baie fotogenies.

Dis 'n Endurance E2 wat ek so 11 jaar gelede by Mountain Mailorder gekoop het.
