A while back I bought a set of boots from a forum member and had them resoled in the Cape for my son!
He'd never used them before - but this past weekend was his baptism of fire on the F650 in the Cederberg.
The boots were not abused and never took a beating.... however what I noticed is that the casing or outer shell of the boots are brittle and collapsed totally! These have not been abused or left outside at all.......... just seems the one fall he had allowed the boots to disintegrate.
The soles are still NEW!!!!!!!!!! ??? ???
So - I'm looking for a spare pair of Size 9's that someone could perhaps part with........... I'm hoping the soles can be removed and re-used on other boots - they cost R440 to replace :eek7:
