I got a lot of pm's asking about the route of my Sunday cruise I posted a while back, so I thought I'll post
this one from the past weekend aswell.

Basically the same route as part one, except that I took the
road to De Wagensdrift, turning off just after Refilwe.

The road from De Wagensdrift to Rust de Winter. Small loose stone surface that had the bike moving under me the whole time.
Smoothed out at just over 110km/h.

Game farms on either side.

This section was around 30km long & getting boring.
"Don't try this at home"

Found this very nice quiet spot on the bridge where I just sat staring at the river for a long time. Nice

The road to Uitvlugt was sadly the most beautiful piece.

The road from Rust de Winter Police station to Leeufontein.
It's on this section that I dropped the bike because I was
looking around & not watching the road. I farted as I was pushing
the bike up, burst out laughing & ended up pushing the bike right
over & dropped it for a second time.
Luckily this was in deep sand & no damage was done except for
some scratch marks on the crash bars.
Nothing a bit of satin black spray paint can't fix.

Seemed I over filled with engine oil, as my boot had oil spray on it from the filler cap & the dust loved that.

Having seen & heard of top boxes flying of bikes, I decided to use
some straps on each side as a "better safe than sorry"
No way that baby is coming off. :D

Eventually passing Maloto on my way back home.

Rear TKC with 4200km on it. Think I'll need to replace it before
my solo ET trip. It is starting to crack up too.
