Diens interval
« on: December 04, 2014, 09:06:26 pm »

Ag hulle praat kak man.

Dis 10 000km OF 12 maande.

Manic is doodreg.

Guys, check this out carefully.

Ryder Pinetown say:

Every 12 months PLUS every 10 000ks, so maybe your 10 000 is in June, and your 12 months is in July, you have to service again!!!

A rider who does 10 000ks a year and is out of "sync" will have to service bike twice a year according to BMW.

Bullshit I think, but check it out carefully.

It doesn't make sense. I'll have to check but I also have it as "either or"....

In your example, yes, the bike would require a service in June, 12 months later because the OR part came in.

The LC owner's manual does not even state every 10 000km.  It states that the owner and the service manager should agree on a service interval depending on riding style, etc.

My owners manual states that the bike has to be serviced once a year. It then further states that riders who do long distance travelling might have to bring their bikes in for a service before the next service is due. I understand it therefore that the bike has to be serviced at least once a year, but earlier if you travel a lot. The service indicator advises you when the bike is due for a service.

You therefore definitely do not have to service the bike yearly, as well as when a certain distance is traveled, as claimed by the stealer. It is either once per year, or more if you travel more.

Sit nou met my 2014 LC se boekie in my hand en soos ek reeds in die pos hierbo gesÍ het,  een keer 'n jaar,  Mar as jy baie ry,  bespreek tussen jou en diens adviseur.
