Ghost towns on google maps...

I made a google map showing all the towns as listed in this thread: http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=36767.0

I used the coordinates in the list on the linked thread so cannot vouch for the accuracy. I know Diepgezet's coordinates were wrong, it is shown in Swaziland but that one I knew so could fix it.

Feel free to send me more towns, I'll add it to the list.

If anyone has pics I can try adding those too, just add to this thread.

Here's one - an abandoned town/village in the Kloof NW of Greylingstad

S26 44 13.1 E28 45 00.0

I have been there with HalfDaft a couple of times - cannot seem to find the history of the place tho - it's pretty much going back to nature, crumbling etc. but there was a church and evidence of a general store of sorts....

Gumtree isn't actually a ghost town.  The old mill is a ruin but there are still people living in some of the houses around it.
