Feeling like going a bit off road ? This is more 4 the Vaalies but if you know the area do it. Take the barage road and then the Vaal Eden road that turns right and there you go. We left at 07h00 2 x 1150 and 2 x 1200 GS's had a coffie next to a little river crossing
Met my nephew at the KOFFIE KAN at 08h00 , after another coffie we deflated the tyres
Go through Parys till you get the Schoemansdrif turnoff and enjoy
Excellent views in the valley and all along the riverbank we drove stopping for view pics
With 2 GPS's missed a turn off and waited for the ones who missed it.
Came across this " moddergat "
Tested my camera mount to see how it works and to give a riders view of what it feels like to go through the moddergat
Adrenalin pumping we stopped for a snack
Of again all along the riverbank , nice roads
Stopped for a cooldrink at a coffieshoppie along the gravel road that just appeared
