Love this bike.

I agree with Noneking that a 501 Husky would be awesome, but at a fraction of the price and the same amount of fun I'll stick with the BM.

Only thing left to do is increase the fuel range

Buy a Nomad tank from Chris  :thumleft:
Can see it on the rear mudguard just behind my sons butt on our Baviaans trip to the EC Bash. In fact we did not even need it!

Could not resist. Added this guy to the family.

Going to do a few mods,  but can't wait to do all kinds of riding on it.

Mooi !
(. . . if the side stand is the same as the G450X, then there is an upgraded side stand available from BM , from a better/stronger material)

The OEM Sidestand is made of cheese! Need to use the cast steel hinge and weld stronger tubing onto it.

I have a Speedbrain in pieces in addition to my other one - this may inspire me to put it together.  ;D  Bought it with the Amageza dream in mind but my son's enduro racing has got in the way so far. I may also consider selling it - anyone interested PM me.

NO! If the side-stand was really made from (firm) cheese, it would still serve SOME purpose....

No, Sir; the side stand is made from spaghetti - COOKED spaghetti, and it looks and acts like a wet noodle should...!

I need to get this bike through roadworthy.

For that I would need some sort of speedometer. Any suggestions as I do not have the original one.

Also thinking of some flush indicators up front.

Unless I can just get a roadworthy certificate and save the hassle.

we should have our next batch of flush-mount indicators by around FRIDAY this week...

Cannot help you with a Speedo, but there are TWO bikes breaking on Gumtree, thT COULD BE YOUR FIRST PORT-OF-CALL...

Good luck
Chris

enjoy Dwerg. Here is my ADV Lite, after a Cedarberg/Tankwa run earlier this week.

(testing out a new, Uber-affordable Enduro saddlebag, similar to the GL Mojave set-up- and it performed flawlessly on a 2-day trip!)

Bought the bike second hand with 15 000km on the clock and with the sticker kit on it. I have only done 166km on the bike so far, sadly it will be standing in the garage for time being until I get the alternator fixed.

Alternator is a quick fix if it is just a burnt winding.  :thumleft:
