Guys,

I'm sure that this has been covered before, but a quick search didn't turn anything up, so I'm asking again.

My MX boots, which I use for touring and playing on my plastics, have seen better days and are getting to the point where I need to replace them. I'd appreciate recommendations, based on personal experience (can get sh!t advice from an 18 year old at Fullkak any time).

Value system is more or less as follows:
1.  Support/ankle protection (bones are old and I fall a lot)
2.  Comfort (riding long hours - walking not so much)
3.  Durability (must take mud, dust etc and then a good cleaning)
4.  Value for money

N.    Looks (not important)

Looking at (so far)
1.    BMW (am not a brand whore, but have had excellent experience with their other kit over the years)
2.    Sidi Crossfires (based on other's recommendations)
3.    Alpine stars (Tech ?)

Where is the best place to buy in Gauteng? I live in Midrand, so fairly central.
