Sardine, I've always enjoyed your flying photography, especially aerial shots of the local terrain here in the Eastern Cape, trying to figure out the dirt roads network.
But now I think - I hope - that I've picked up some further inspiration from your exercise philosophy. When not doing a serious run or cycle, doing at least a mile or two each day.
Since giving up serious road running due to shift work making a proper training/eating/sleeping pattern impossible, I've become a self loathing slob despite trying to do power walking
(so boring walking the same old streets), and stationary biking in which I'm inclined to pedal myself to a state of total collapse and then next day tell myself that I need a day's rest, and then another......and another....and another....Doesn't work.
I think I must adopt your philosophy and do just a bit each day. Knowing that I'm not going to do a killer marathon session, perhaps I'll be less deterred and more inclined to do at least something. All I need is to sacrifice about 15 minutes of forum time each day.
Oh, oh dammit, I might have known there was a reason it wouldn't work.
