I was sitting on Sunday evening considering the fact that after 280km I was pretty close to reserve on my 23L tank. I then thought back on the riding that I had done over the past few days. On tar I'd seen 160km/hr a number of times, and on the dirt my back wheel had been spinning quite often, as I've had some heavy Rock tunes going through my head a lot lately.
My deduction is that Rock tunes and my right wrist are directly connected, thus adversely affecting fuel consumption (maybe that's why commercial radios don't play good Rock music - they want everyone to save fuel). I've got well over 400km to my tank when riding conservatively, but that's so boring (along with the crap they play on radio).
I'm inclined to blame this heavy fuel consumption all on Dux and a number of Rock bands, for releasing the hooligan.
