I found a Mystic

I've been asked to put up a few pics of my bike.

I bought it off a Japanese bloke who brought it over from Japan 3 years ago when he moved here.

38000 kms on the clock paid 26K for it. To be honest I thought I was buying a R100 (T ??)as the pics on scumtree were very vague and one could not see the rear suspension. Only when my boet fetched it for me in Sandton and sent a few more pics did I notice it was a Mystic.

I think I got lucky here as its in exceptional condition. I was going to chop it but I dont think thats going to happen anymore....the missus and I actually enjoying riding this bike. I bought a 2nd hand set of K100 panniers which fit nicely.

The tailpiece and light look very different from the normal Mystic that I've seen on google but yes most definitely an R100R....."Doken Special Version" whatever that means.

All I did to it was cut off the front shock rubbers as they were perished and cracked. Replaced the driveshaft rubber boot and fitted new tires. The carbs needed a little bit of adjusting on the idle but thats all. Roadworthy a breeze. Oh and the oil pressure sender has to be replaced as the light does not come on with ignition.
